New York plays New York tonight! Eleven of the Giants players won’t be in the game though, including the Giants superstar- Victor Cruz. There have been a lot of injuries going on with that team. Antrel Rolle, and Victor Cruz are suffering from ankle and heel injuries. Corey Webster, Ramses Barden, David Baas, Markus Kuhn and Henry Hynoski all have or have had knee injuries. Other players have had various injuries and it’s only pre season.
The Giants have had some pretty good offseason moments so far. It seems as though Giants fans can’t really agree on who has been the most impressive or breakout player on the team. Tyler Sash is one of the fans favorites going from being the most likely to be cut to being second on the depth chart. Hakeem Nicks is being projected as the #1 WR in fantasy football, as long as the 25 year old can bypass any injuries.
Keep an eye on Terrell Thomas as he returns from his third torn ACL injury. He hasn’t played since 2011 so he has a lot to prove not only to himself but to his fans and NFL teammates also. Jim Cordle will be stepping in for David Baas. He did pretty good the other night when he took over for him but let’s see how confident the team is with him in today’s pre-season game.
There are several possible breakout players who will be stepping in for the injured tonight. Let’s watch some football and see how they do!
